Rebecca Arce, DPT
Rebecca utilizes both Pilates-based and traditional therapy to rehab musculoskeletal and neuromuscular pathologies with an emphasis on low back pain and postural improvement. She enjoys working with athletes as well as those that wish to begin a fitness program safely, moving from injury to wellness. Through the use of Pilates-based therapy she has gotten great results in various populations including, dancers, swimmers, divers, golfers and soccer players. Graduating with honors from the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine she earned her doctorate in physical therapy. During PT school, she began her certification for Practitioner of Pilates for Rehabilitation at the Polestar Pilates Center. This was a year-long process and had a profound effect, shaping the way she practices physical therapy today. Having an appreciation and knowledge of Pilates-based therapy, she enjoys experiencing the movement of Pilates and sharing that positive movement experience with patients and clients. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, Jake and River, running, practicing Pilates, cheering for the Jets and playing video games.
